Message from the Program Director

Welcome to the International School of Psychology.

At ISP, our purpose is simple and ambitious: to make high-quality, research-informed psychology education accessible to learners everywhere. We believe psychology is at its best when rigorous science meets real-world impact—when evidence guides practice, ethics shape decisions, and cultural humility informs how we work with people and communities.

Our programmes are designed for working adults and aspiring professionals who want flexible study without compromising academic standards. You'll learn through clear, structured curricula, authentic assessments, and the guidance of faculty who blend scholarly expertise with practitioner experience. Along the way, you'll build practical skills—critical analysis, research literacy, ethical judgment, communication, and data-informed decision-making—that transfer directly into clinical, organisational, educational, and community settings.

Three principles anchor everything we do:

  • Evidence & Excellence – We teach what is supported by research, encourage healthy skepticism, and help you apply knowledge responsibly.
  • Equity & Care – Psychology must serve diverse populations. We prioritise inclusion, accessibility, and learner wellbeing, and we expect our graduates to do the same in their practice.
  • Learning for Life – Professional growth doesn't end at graduation. We cultivate reflective habits, ethical leadership, and the capacity to keep learning as the field evolves.

Education is also community. At ISP you'll join a global cohort—students, mentors, and alumni—who challenge and support one another. You'll receive timely feedback, practical guidance, and a supportive academic environment built on clarity, respect, and integrity.

Our motto, Cognitio per Mentem—"knowledge through the mind"—reminds us that learning is both an intellectual and a human journey. If you share our commitment to meaningful, ethical impact, I invite you to explore our programmes and take your next step with us.

Warmly,

Jennifer Bovard
